As part of our services, we do ask that customers agree to the following terms & conditions:
*Please disclose any and all known medical conditions / behavioral issues that my pet(s) may have, that may impact the safety of my pet(s), or the safety of the groomers.
Occasionally, grooming can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one. (This can occur during or after grooming.)
*Authorize Clawson Paws Pet Grooming LLC to seek medical treatment in the case of any medical emergencies while my pet is in their care. Although accidents are very rare, there is always a risk when dealing with animals. Grooming equipment is sharp, and although we use extreme caution and care in all situations, possible problems could occur including cuts, nicks, scratches, quicking of nails, etc. (In most cases this can happen when an animal is wiggling or moving around.) Your pet’s safety and comfort is our number one priority. In the event an accident does occur, you and your vet on file will be notified and we will seek treatment at our expense with our primary veterinarian, Dr. Rivas of Kimball Animal Hospital, Clawson, MI (248-288-1100) or A-Care Animal Clinic, Troy, MI (248-524-0500)
*Agree that any pet left for grooming will be up-to-date on vaccinations, or if my pet is not up-to-date, I release Clawson Paws Pet Grooming LLC from any and all liabilities that may result from the lack of such vaccinations.
*Clawson Paws Pet Grooming LLC strives to be a flea-free salon. If your pet has fleas, they will be given a flea bath at your expense ($15).
Ticks will be removed free of charge and you will be notified if any are found.
*Understand that Clawson Paws Pet Grooming LLC reserves the right to refuse services at any time.
In the event that your pet is too stressed or becomes dangerous to groom, we reserve the right to refuse grooming services, stop grooming services, or cancel grooming services at any time before, during, or after grooming. In some cases, muzzling may be able to calm a stressed animal and allow grooming to continue. (We will not muzzle unless your pet gives us a reason to.) If your pet still acts in a way that is dangerous, we reserve the right to stop all grooming services and a grooming fee will be charged (for what was done up until that point).
*If I am unhappy for any reason with my pet’s groom and would like something adjusted, I will request the adjustment when I pick-up my pet.
Your satisfaction is important to us. We will be happy to make any adjustments when you pick-up your pet from their appointment or at most 24 hours following the appointment. After 24 hours, any return visit will be treated as a new appointment.
*Authorize Clawson Paws Pet Grooming LLC to take photos of my pet for their file.
Photographs are property of Clawson Paws Pet Grooming LLC, but will not be used for any other purpose without your approval.
*I agree to provide at least 24 hours notice if I will not be able to keep an appointment. We understand that things happen and will work with you to reschedule when needed. “No Call, No Shows” or repeated cancellations, however, may result in the inability to schedule future appointments.
*Clawson Paws Pet Grooming LLC does not offer boarding
We will notify you when you are able to pick up your pet and ask that you pick them up within an hour. A $10 / hour fee will be assessed for each hour after the scheduled pick-up time.
We are locally owned & operated and our owner, Michelle, has over 20 years of industry experience. In addition to the standard grooming options, she also offers hand scissoring for breed specific & show cuts, specializing in, but not limited to, poodles and bichons.
